This guest post is by Jamie Cerniglia, Senior Audio Producer in the Center for Teaching and Learning. Additional material contributed by the entire CTL Audio Producer team.

The Center for Teaching and Learning uses an online scheduling service for audio recordings. This system enables you to choose a date and time based on availability that works best for you.

Please note that this page says Narrated PowerPoint and offers you time periods, based on what you're planning to record a new or first-time speaker, or a guest lecturer is a two-hour session. A course intro or single section revision is a one-hour session. A new lecture or multiple section revisions are both two-hour sessions. When you click on one of these options, the page will then display a calendar, choose a date and a dropdown menu will appear and show your time options, click on the Start Time, that works for you. Then click continue. Now, you will be asked to fill in several fields, course number, course title, your name and email address from the dropdown menu, choose your instructional designer, and add specific information about the lecture you are recording. Not all of these fields are mandatory, but please let us know if you have additional speakers or special requests, click Complete appointment. The system will send you automatic reminders regarding your scheduled recording and give you the option to add to your iCal, Outlook or Google Calendar, the audio producers will also be in touch with additional information prior to your recording.

If you have any questions or need additional help, contact your instructional designer or the audio producer team.
