CoursePlus Now Pulls Enrollments for Multiple Terms in the Future

March 20, 2020 | 0 Minute Read

For a very long time, CoursePlus has only been able to pull course registration data from SIS for a single term at a time. This largely stemmed from the fact that there are many courses with the same course and section numbers in multiple, back-to-back terms.

We're pleased to announce that as of the fourth term, AY2019-2020, CoursePlus now pulls registration data for all future terms in which students are currently registered. This means that course rosters will populate far in advance in the start of the term, instead of the previous practice of two weeks before the start of the term. Additionally, students who register for courses far in advance of the course start date will begin to see those courses listed in CoursePlus shortly after they register in SIS.

Please note that for courses newly approved in the JHSPH course system, it may take a few hours for registration data to appear in CoursePlus. For all other courses, registration data is updated in CoursePlus every 30 minutes.
