Before you can export to mp3 format on a PC, you have to establish your export settings. These will apply to all of your subsequent recordings, and do not have to be set again. Note: Windows 7 users do not need to follow these steps. Follow instructions to export to MP3 and if prompted to locate LAME file, return to this page.
Use the Bit Rate drop down menu to set the Bit Rate to 48, the best level for audio playback, then click OK.
Now that you have recorded your audio and installed the LAME MP3 converter, you can export your audio to MP3 format so that it can be posted online.
Enter the track's Title and Artist information. This will help you to identify it in an MP3 player program, such as iTunes.
The MP3 file is now in the location where you saved it, and can be posted online.
